We offer Mercedes Sprinter and Ford Transit vans for hire. They offer the most practical, comfortable and affordable set-up for off road van life in South Africa. See vehicle specifications for more details.

The rental price includes the van and everything in it and awesome support from start to finish, including roadside assistance. It also includes basic insurance. If you need anything else please get in touch.

Absolutely! You only have to bring your own clothes and stock up with food and we'll take care of the rest. PS. We can also stock you up with food & a menu plan if you want!

We don't like saying NO - but unfortunately this is one of those times when we have to! Those hairs and smells are hard to shift! The good news? It means you can be even more sure you are getting a sparkly rental van - we take cleanliness very seriously! 

There are a few. You are restricted to driving in South Africa only (except without prior permission) and no hard core 4x4 trails. That's pretty much it! You can see full details in our Terms and Conditions.

You pay a 30% deposit to secure the booking (similar to a rental property). You'll pay the balance one week before vehicle pick-up. 

You can either pick up the vehicle from us in Noordhoek, Cape Town, or we can deliver to you in Cape Town. Same with the drop-off. It's super easy really!

Unfortunately not! 

Absolutely! Roadside assistance is included in the rental price. If you breakdown you will be towed to the nearest town that can offer assistance. 

If you want to modify the van please let us know. 

We can help with many things. Just let us know what you need and we'll try to make a plan! 

Every camper is thoroughly cleaned and checked between rentals. All the linen provided is fresh!

None! However, just remember that any damage to the van will be for the account of the renter - and the likelihood of damage at a festival is much higher due to party shenanigans. If you are prepared to take that risk, then crack on!

Yes! During the rental booking process we'd be happy to share routes and tips from our many years of experience, depending on your specific needs. We're also on hand during your trip to support you should you need.

South Africa is bursting with fantastic campsites in the most amazing locations. Book ahead in peak season to ensure you get a pitch and enjoy!

The minimum rental period is 7 nights. There is no maximum rental period.

Yes! We offer standard insurance (included in the rental price) that comes with a R50,000 excess. You can pay a little extra to reduce the excess to R25,000.

Late turns will incur a penalty fee as well as the additional daily rate of the rental. Please get in touch if you think you will be late.

Yes, but unfortunately we can't guarantee it. It will depend on the date of the next booking and the number of vans available. Get in touch as soon as you can and we'll try to accommodate the change. You'll need to pay for the additional days upfront to secure the booking.

Unfortunately we don't offer one way rentals. All rentals must start and end in Cape Town. 

You'll be liable for any damage to the rental that is not considered normal wear and tear. This will be taken from your credit card within 5 days of the return of the van. 

Fuel is for your own account (+ bring it back as you were given it). You can drive up to 200KM per day (which is plenty). Any extra KMs are charged at R7 per KM. 

Client Cancellation

• More than 7 days before vehicle pick-up - the deposit will be lost.
•  7 days or less before vehicle pick up - 80% of the total booking cost.

Cape Town Camper Cancellation

• 100% of the total booking cost.

Yes - drivers must be 23 years or older. 

Unless otherwise agreed, you must remain in South Africa. Get in touch if you want to leave SA.

You are over 23, have a driving licence and have the funds to secure a booking! That together with a sense of adventure and you are all set! 

You can either pick up the van from us in Noordhoek, Cape Town, or we can deliver to you (In the Cape Town area). We'll go through the van with you (takes about 30-45 mins), and ensure you are happy with the condition of the van. 

You'll also get a really comprehensive renters manual with the van so you can swot up in your own time. 

Then it's just the open road calling and off you go! 

We'll do what we can to accommodate you - just let us know well in advance what the pick up time and location. Returning the van takes about 15 mins. 

Yes, With a little common sense, driving in South Africa is very safe. We've travelled many thousands of KMs across Southern Africa without any serious problems!
